Recently, CTN partnered with the Santa Barbara Foundation to help older adults and people with disabilities get online.
Together, we worked on the Access to Technology (ATT) initiative with five nonprofits to launch localized digital inclusion programs throughout Santa Barbara County. Each plan would be tailored to meet the unique needs of the communities served.
CTN supported each of the five organizations by providing:
- Staff Training: We trained their team members to become digital navigators.
- Devices: We provided tablets, Chrombooks, smartphones, and smartwatches to be distributed to community members in need.
- Technology Class Curriculum: We offered customized teacher guides and learner booklets, available in multiple languages.
- Marketing Materials: We developed personalized outreach materials (such as flyers, handouts, and newsletter blurbs) so the nonprofits could advertise their programs to community members.
